a day off

on wednesday, both me & my roommate amber had the day off.. so we went to check out disney's boardwalk.. and then rode the boat from there into epcot :)

it threatened to rain when we first got there.. but it cleared up after a little while and turned into a beautiful day !

so all around the boardwalk are hotels.. and they all are simply beautiful.. i mean.. true to disney nature everything is themed and is so cool..

i loved this !! i want a hammock on a beach someday :)

we just walked all around.. and happened to find the mini-golf place we get 50% off at.. lol

like i said.. then we headed over to epcot .. since it is like right next door..

had dinner in mexico.. it was SO good..

then walked over to france and got dessert.. o.mi.soul.. it was incredible..

we also met up with belle while in france !

haha then we were walking around.. who knows where.. and we walked past this little shop.. and decided randomly to go in.. and they had all sorts of peter rabbit stuff.. and we're walking thru the shop.. and get to the back.. and there are pooh, eeyore, and tigger !! lol completely random.. but very cool !

and walking back to the car.. the sunset was incredible !!

disney's hollywood studios

today.. one of my roommates and i went to hollywood studios.. we only spent a few hours there.. but we had so much fun !!

we saw this sign.. not exactly sure what it was advertising ? [obviously something with disney] but i thought it was awesome..

and of course we had to see the best show there -- beauty and the beast :)

so.. i already posted pictures of the inside of my apartment.. [which has already changed.. because we already re-arranged the living room.. and now my room has been decorated & made a bit more organized.. so i may post updated pictures sometime] ..here's the outside :)

its the start of 2009 :: the start of not only a new year but a new adventure for me.. i've finally arrived in disney world for my 5 month internship and i'm so excited to get started !!

and i know everyone back home is curious to find out what my new home [for the next 5 months at least] looks like :) i didn't get any outside photos today.. so.. we'll work on that tomorrow :) for right now.. here's the inside !

so we've got.. a microwave.. oven.. fridge.. && dishwasher !! YAY plus tons of pots & pans.. and all the other good stuff a kitchen needs..
